|Biological Significance||Tenascin/hexabrachion/cytotactin is an extracellular matrix glycoprotein, widely expressed during embryogenesis. In adults, it is restricted to certain epithelial-stromal interfaces and increases markedly in hyperproliferative diseases and in stroma of many neoplasms, including gliomas, breast, squamous and lung carcinomas.|
